Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do home visits?
Yes. I visit homes across Newcastle, North Tyneside, Sunderland, South Shields and Morpeth, at the same price as the clinic, with no call-out fee.
How much does ear wax removal cost?
£35 for one ear or £60 for both. An ear health check is £25, and routine foot care starts from £25.
When are you open?
7am to 10:30pm, seven days a week, including Sundays.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Often, yes. Call or message and I’ll do my best to fit you in today.
Where are your clinics?
I work from Heaton and Benton in Newcastle, or I can come to you.
What’s the difference between microsuction and irrigation?
Microsuction uses a gentle suction to remove wax. Irrigation uses a controlled flow of warm water to wash it out. I offer both, and I’ll recommend the best option for your ears.
Does it hurt?
Most people find it comfortable. You might notice some noise or a cool feeling, and I’ll check in with you throughout.
How do I know if I need ear wax removal?
Common signs are muffled hearing, a blocked or full feeling, ringing, or earache. If you’re not sure, an ear health check will show whether wax is the problem.
Is there anything I should tell you before my appointment?
Please let me know if you’ve had ear surgery, a perforated eardrum, or a current ear infection, or if you have any pain or discharge.
What do I need for a home visit?
Just a chair, somewhere with good light and a plug socket nearby. I bring everything else.
Do you offer foot care?
Yes, I offer routine foot care, including nail cutting, filing, hard skin removal and foot washing, in the clinic or at home.
How can I pay?
I take card payments, including contactless.
How do I book?
Call or message 07356 087975, or book online through Google.
